Former Lady Bruin Tucker Receives Honor
Former Bartlesville High Lady Bruin basketball standout Hailey Tucker continues to reel in the hardware.
Tucker, who was the Great American Conference Player of The Year this season, was named to the First-Team All Central Region on Tuesday.
That means she was voted one of the top five players in all of the Midwest for NCAA Division II women’s basketball.
Tucker became the first sophomore to hold that honor since 2013 . Tucker averaged a shade over 18-points per-game at Southwestern Oklahoma State this year out of Weatherford, Oklahoma.
She was the leading scorer in the GAC.
Tucker graduated from Bartlesville High in the spring of 2015. Tucker had some division one looks and offers prior to choosing to play at SWOSU.
