It’s the nominal midway point of the basketball season across most levels. In Kansas City, a former Osage County hooper is finding success. Benjamin Jones a former homeschooler from Barnsdall is tearing it up for Calvary Univesity, a NCCAA school.

Jones played his high school basketball through the Tulsa CHEF program. The 6-5 sophomore is a pastoral studies major at the small bible college. Jones has played great on the court as he averages 10 points per game and is shooting 40% from three-point range on the season. Jones returned to the area in October when Calvary lost to Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Jones will next take the floor on January 9 against Kansas Christian College.
