Former Bruin Kirby Schoenthaler Wraps Up Career

We got the chance to catch up with former Bartlesville football standout Kirby Schoenthaler, who has been doing great things for the Dartmouth football squad.

Prior to an injury, Schoenthaler was one of the leaders in kick-return yardage in FCS football.

Schoenthaler walks us through his choice to go to Darthmouth.

Going to play football at an Ivy League school is a bit different than going to Oklahoma or Oklahoma State, Kirby explains.

The Big Green did well in football this year, finishing behind Harvard in the Ivy League at 8-2. Schoenthaler returned from a collapsed lung to return a kick in his final collegiate game, and Dartmouth's last win over Princeton. Schoenthaler enjoyed his niche in the team.

Schoenthaler gives the keys to a good kick return.

Both Bartlesville and Dartmouth's season are over, and Kirby says he still keeps close tabs on Bruin football.

Schoenthaler finished his senior campaign with 18 kick returns for 514 yards, with a long of 92 yards.

Thanks to Kirby to speaking with us.
