Final Week for OKWU Hoops Upcoming
Both the Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball teams won their games on Saturday at home against Tabor at the Mueller Sports Center, setting up a fun final week for Eagle and Lady Eagle Hoops.
The Lady Eagles topped Tabor, 69-64. The OKWU women have won two in a row to get back to 11-11 in conference play with two left on the schedule.
The Eagle men meanwhile blew out the Blue Jays 92-64. Wesleyan is now alone in second place in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles are a game back of Ottawa and a game ahead of Southwestern in the standings.
The schedule remaining in the regular season for both Wesleyan teams – they will host Bethel on Wednesday, and then travel to Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday.
We will have both those games later on this week on 99.1 FM – KPGM.
