FInal Stretch for Doenges Ford Indians

It is mid-July, which means summer baseball is coming to a close.

Despite the State Legion Tournament coming on July 29, Bartlesville's major American Legion team has only one week left on its regular season schedule. The Indians begin that final sprint with a double-header at Three Rivers on Wednesday evening.

Bartlesville is coming off its most impressive stretch of the season. The Indians won the Glen Winget, then blew out Shawnee Mission North and Baxter Springs this past weekend. Those wins were sandwiched around two losses to a stellar Fort Smith team.

In all, Bartlesville has won eight of its last 10, and outscored opponents 44-5 over the last weekend.

Okmulgee comes to Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium on Friday and Saturday for double-headers to round out the season.

You can listen to Wednesday evening's game against the Bandits at 6:00 on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3 - Also online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and on the BartlesvilleRadio App.
