Final Regular Week For Bruin Baseball

It’s crunch time for the Bruin baseball team, and the schedule sets up well for the Bruins.

Bartlesville (13-13) eyes its final three district games of the season. All three games will be against sub .500 teams.

First, BHS takes on Enid (10-16) on Monday night at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Monday’s game, the first of two games against the Plainsmen this week, will be senior night for the Bruins. Chase Fiddler, Chandler Holliman and Andrew Sterk will all play their second-to-last games in Bartlesville.

BHS is scheduled to play Booker T. Washington in a rainout make-up game on Thursday, but the senior festivities for the three seniors will be Monday.

Bartlesville has only two districts wins coming into the week. BHS suffered a close loss at Bishop Kelley on Saturday. The Comets scored one run in the bottom of the ninth to win in extra innings.

Bartlesville had scored two runs in the top of the eighth, but Bishop Kelley scored two runs back in the bottom half to tie it and force the ninth.

BHS is scheduled to play at Sapulpa on Friday, as well.

You can hear Monday, Thursday and Friday’s game on KWON 1400 AM, 93.3 FM.
