Final Day of BA Classic for Bartlesville Basketball
Both the Bartlesville High basketball teams won their games on Friday in the Broken Arrow Classic, setting up a fun Saturday for BHS fans.
The Lady Bruins blew out the OKC Storm in the semifinals of the winner’s bracket, 55-25.
The Bartlesville girls are 3-0 and have won all three of their games by 23-points or more.
BHS now faces Moore in the finals of the BA Classic on Saturday night at 7:00. Moore topped Springdale Har-Ber 49-27 to get into the title game. We will have the girl’s championship contest on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. Pregame should begin around 6:30 PM.
On the guy’s side, the Bruins picked up their first win of the season against Jenks in the loser’s bracket. Bartlesville topped the Trojans 53-47.
It was a back and forth affair, with Jenks leading by as much as 6 in the fourth quarter, but Bartlesville would stage a comeback. Tayo Dina made this bucket to keep BHS close.
The Bruins next face Putnam City in the consolation bracket title game on Saturday afternoon at 2:30. That is another game we will have on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. Pregame around 2:00 PM.
