Eagles Learn National Tourney Seeding Wednesday

Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball will learn its seeding in the NAIA National Tournament on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The Eagles fell in the finals of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament to Southwestern on Monday. Despites this loss the Eagles are 30-3 on the season, the best record in the NAIA. OKWU spent six weeks as the No. 1 team in the coach’s poll as well.

 32 teams qualify for the event. They are split up in four eight-team pools. The Eagles are likely No. 1 seed in of the pools and have a strong shot at the No. 1 overall seed as well. The national tournament is set to begin on March 6 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A live announcement of the bracket will be made on the NAIA’s Facebook page at 5:00 p.m.
