Oklahoma Wesleyan faces a major challenge in a Wednesday road trip to Newton, Kansas to take on Bethel College. The Threshers are currently one game ahead of OKWU in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference standings.

The Eagles returned from break with a double-digit win over Tabor on Saturday, but this contest will be one with major postseason implications. Eagles head coach Donnie Bostwick says the play of the second unit will be big in this game and for the rest of the season.

The group of five bench players contributed major minutes and points in the victory over Tabor. Lense Ramey, a transfer from Division II UT-Tyler, registered 11 points in just his second game with team.

The Lady Eagles will be tested as well. OKWU is coming off a disappointing loss in its first game of 2020. The Women’s side has lost by 10+ in its last two trips to Newton. The Lady Eagles are currently 6th in the KCAC standings.

Radio coverage from north of Wichita can be heard on Sportstalk 99.1 FM KPGM. Tipoff at 6 p.m.
