Eagles Announced as No. 1 Seed in Nat'l Tournament

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball was announced as a No. 1 seed as the NAIA revealed its bracket for the National Tournament. The Eagles will play St. Francis, Illinois in the first-round of the 32-team event.

Eagles head coach Donnie Bostwick had this to say about OKWU being selected as one of the four No. 1 seeds.

The Eagles first game is set for Wednesday at 1:45 PM from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. St. Francis finished the regular season at 19-14. The Fighting Saints closed the regular season losing seven of their last eight games before winning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament.

OKWU went 30-3 in the regular season and were crowned as Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season champions. The Eagles fell in the KCAC tournament to Southwestern, who was announced as a two-seed in the national tournament.
