The Dewey Bulldoggers will try to for the team’s first playoff win since 2009 when it goes on the road to face Adair on Friday night. Meanwhile the Warriors have been mainstays in the playoffs for the last five years. Adair has won at least three playoff games per year starting in their state championship season in 2015.

The Bulldoggers have already had a historic season by their own standards, winning seven regular season game for the first time since 1994. Dewey head coach Trent Turner says the Dewey community should get used to playoff games.

Turner was the offensive coordinator at Adair last season as the Warriors stormed to the state semifinals. A zero week reunion saw Adair win a tight game, 32-14 early this season. Turner says last year showed him what it takes to lead a program on a playoff run.

Dewey will try to pull the playoff upset on the road against the 9-1 Warriors. Coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. on KWON AM 1400—FM 93.3.
