Doenges Ford Indians Sweep

The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians swept the Ada A's on Thursday afternoon in Ada. The Indians won 13-5 and 3-1. 

Bartlesville improves to 19-14, and will play Ada in another double header on Friday afternoon at 12:00 and 2:00. You can listen to those games on Sports Talk 1500 AM KPGM. 

The 13-5 victory for the Indians was far more exciting than the score would indicate. The game was tied at four going into the top of the eighth. The Indians scored nine runs in the eighth, ending their three-game losing streak. Joe Jones threw all eight innings, giving up five runs on eight hits and striking out six.

Jacob Ruiz , Chase Fiddler and Logan McNeill both had multi-hit games in the victory. 

Brady Kokojan was the story of game two. The Enid product threw a complete, one-hit game. He struck out 13 over seven innings of work. Ruiz and Zac Boyes both had multi-hit games in the second game. 

Only four regular season games remain for Bartlesville before the Indians host the Oklahoma State Legion Baseball Tournament at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium starting on July 22.
