The Doenges Ford Indians came back and came back and eventually split with Okmulgee during a double-header on Monday night.

The Indians lost game one 13-10 in eight innings, and won game two 8-7. Bartlesville has three much needed days off until the Indians travel to Enid on Friday.

The most dramatic part of the evening was a three-run inside the park home run from Sam Walker in the bottom of the sixth. With the Indians down by two, Walker hit a sinking line drive to center field that skipped past the defense and rolled to the wall. Walker had already driven in the two runs that were on base before he sped around third and beat the relay throw to give Bartlesville the 8-7 lead.

The home run for Walker was the second blast for the Indians in the game. Chase Fiddler hit his second home run of the season in the middle of a four-run second inning.

The Indians had led throughout game one as well. The Dawgs had scored three runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings to come back from a four-run deficit.

Joe Gott picked up the win in game two, it was Will Hefner who picked up the loss in game one.

The Indians are 14-5 and Bartlesville is at Enid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for four games.
