Doenges Ford Indians Back on Saturday
Local baseball is back on the airwaves Saturday evening, as the Doenges Ford Indians are finally back in action at home against Okmulgee.
Bartlesville’s American Legion baseball team has had six days off following a 1-3 weekend in Ada over the July 14 weekend.. The Indians have this one final tune up before the state legion tournament begins on Thursday in Coweta.
Bartlesville is 17-20-1 on the season. The Indians have lost 11 of their last 13 to drop beneath .500.
Bartlesville played Okmulgee to two close games during a double-header on July 11. The Indians lost both those games, 15-11 and 14-10.
It is a 6:00 PM first pitch from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for game one of the twin bill on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
