Dewey Travels To Claremore-Sequoyah

The Dewey Bulldoggers have a do or die contest this week as they travel to play Claremore-Sequoyah. The Bulldoggers know they need wins each of their last two games and they need a little bit of help beyond that. Lucky enough for Dewey they’re playing an Eagles team that is directly ahead of them in the standings.

Despite the added pressure, Bulldoggers head coach Tyler Caid said he’s happy the team in the mix.

The Bulldoggers best bet against Claremore-Sequoyah is to rely on the running game. Senior tailback Faylon Kight has already eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the season after a 100-yard performance in last week’s loss to Verdigris. A repeat performance from their workhorse could go a long way.

The Bulldoggers will be on the radio tonight from Claremore. Pregame show at 6:45 on KRIG 104.9 FM.
