Custer Stadium Press Box Coming Down
Things are already looking a little bit different over at Custer Stadium, as the construction of a new press box is going to start soon. First, the old one has to come down.
The current press box is being dismantled piece by piece in order to make room for the new one, which was a part of the most recent bond package approved by Bartlesville voters. The idea is for the new press box to be finished by the time football season rolls around in 2020, so sometime late this summer.
Acting Bartlesville High Athletic and Activities Director Matt Hancock says it is support from the community that makes it possible for the Bruins to move forward and make sure they have facilities to be proud of.
The timeline for the new press box is still intact, as the plan is to have it torn down in the next couple of weeks.
