Cougars Preparing to Start Fall Camp
It will be a new era for Oklahoma Union football this fall. The Cougars lost 13 seniors from a group that went to the playoffs in four consecutive seasons. Now OKU will be building from the ground up with a talent but in experienced group of underclassmen.
The Cougars worked with a smaller group numbers wise throughout the course of the summer. Cougars head coach Stephen Trammell is looking forward to finding out the strengths of his new group.
Austin Harris is poised to play a big role on the offensive side of things. Isaiah Johnson is likely to take some reps as the primary running back as well. The Cougars will also spend a chunk of fall camp sorting things out on the offensive line.
The Cougars are set for their first practice on Monday, August 8.
