Copan Playing Together to Success
One high school basketball team that did not play on Tuesday evening was Copan, the Hornets will have games on back-to-back days on Thursday and Friday.
The Hornet guys are 4-2, Copan will take on Shilder Thursday and then Nowata on Friday before the Christmas break. The results thus far have been a pleasant surprise to Hornet head coach Kevin Foreman. Copan has competed in every contest it’s played, even against much bigger schools. Foreman talks about what has gone right to begin the 2019-2020 season.
Foreman went on to say that his team will have to keep playing with good chemistry when the schedule turns tougher over the next couple of weeks.
Once the Hornets get out of winter break, they will have only five weeks remaining for the rest of the regular season before the playoffs begin.
