The 2015 high school football season is five weeks done, and Copan is still searching for its first win.

Head coach Jeff McGlathery says Copan didn't play up to its potential this past Friday in a 46-24 loss at Medford. The Hornets should have another decent shot at their first victory on Friday, when they host Prue. it is Copan's homecoming, as well.

McGlathery felt that dropped passes, crucial turnovers and mental lapses cost the Hornets.

Nonetheless, Copan moves on to Prue. McGlathery says that his team needs to refocus it's energy this week, and deal with the distraction that comes from homecoming. Prue is 0-5 as well, so something will have to give. McGlathery says that it is his job focus the guys and get their minds set on getting Copan's first win of 2015.

Kickoff is at 7:30, with homecoming activities accompanying the game.
