Copan Basketball Focuses on Small Things

This time next week there will be a few high school basketball teams getting ready to start up again. Copan is one of those squads.

The Hornet guys stand at 5-3 after the first third or so of the regular season. Copan will only have about five weeks of regular season games remaining when it starts back up after Winter Break. All three of the Hornet losses this year have been to 2A clubs, Copan will be in the Class A playoffs in mid-February.

Head coach Kevin Foreman says he has items he wants his team to work on when they are outmatched against some bigger schools.

Copan comes out of the break with a game against Class A Hominy. Then the Hornets take on Woodland, Wynona and Barnsdall before play begins in the Caney Valley Tournament
