Caney Valley Tournament - Tuesday

Day one of the Caney Valley Tournament wrapped up on Monday down in Ramona with four games.

On the guy's side, Caney Valley got the best of Foyil, winning 60-48 in Monday evening’s nightcap of day one

The sharp shooting of Daniel Barham and Trent Gagan helped the Trojans get a 17-4 lead at the end of one. The Panthers fought back in the second quarter, trailing 25-14 at halftime, but a 9-0 run to start the second half all but ended the ballgame.

Also on the boy’s side, Barnsdall dismantled Chelsea, winning 77-36. Christian Warford led the way in that one with 27 points unofficially, including this three-point-play that extended the Panther lead early in the second quarter.

On the girl’s side, it is the Caney Valley Lady Trojans who advanced over Wesleyan Christian 66-36, and theChelsea girls won in a 47-45 nail-biter over Barnsdall in the first game of the event.

Two more games on the radio on Tuesday evening from Ramona.

Copan boys will take on Liberty at 5:30, while Oklahoma Union squares up against Wesleyan Christian at 8:30 – both those games will air on KRIG 104.9.
