Bruins Wrap up Big Football Weekend
Bartlesville High head football coach Jason Sport was a busy guy on Saturday, as he appeared first on KWON's Coach's Breakfast.
Sport helped the Bruins hold their media day following the breakfast, then BHS had an open house culminating in a scrimmage on Saturday evening.
The first week of fall camp is in the books for Sport as a head coach, and the transition between 2018’s coaching staff and this year’s continues to go smoothly. Despite being the fourth head coach in three years, Sports says there has been some consistency in the program.
During the scrimmage, Ben Winters took the majority of snaps at quarterback, and hooked up with Taton Hopkins, Shane Simpson and Caden Davis for some big plays. The Bruins will have their first scrimmage action against other teams this coming weekend at Jenks.
