Bruins Win Final Home Game

Bartlesville Bruins baseball team improved to 14-15 overall and 3-11 in Class 6A-3 with a 9-1 victory against Booker T. Washington Thursday evening at Doenges Stadium.

Bartlesville never trailed in the game as they scored one run in the bottom of the first, three runs in the third, two runs in the fourth, and three in the bottom of the sixth inning.  AJ Archambo pitched a two-hit shutout in over five innings, walked four, and struck out six Hornet batters.  Chase Fiddler went 3 for 3 with a RBI while Chandler Holliman went 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's.  Zac Boyes got a couple of hits and a RBI.  AJ Archambo and Logan McNeil each got a hit.  As a team, Bartlesville out hit Booker T. Washington 10-2.

The Bruins will next be in action Friday night at Sapulpa starting at 5:30.
