Bartlesville baseball may be hitting its stride at the right time.

Literally.

BHS beat Sand Springs 5-4 in walk-off style on Thursday evening at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Bartlesville scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to tally its fourth win in five contests.

Trevor Doyle delivered the knock out blow with a blast in the left center gap. Doyle's base hit scored AJ Archambo to win the game. Zac Boyes had tied the game with a single just one batter earlier.

Hunter Stoops started things off in the seventh with a one-out single. Garrett Meidl walked, Logan McNeill singled, Archambo walked, and the rest was history.

The Bruins (9-18) next travel to Booker T. Washington on Friday at 4:30 for a non-district game. BHS plays Enid on Monday and Tuesday, and is scheduled to make up another game against the Sandites (20-10) on Friday, April 29.

Friday's game against the Hornets can be heard on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
