Play begins for both Bartlesville High basketball teams in tournaments on Thursday.

The Lady Bruins head to Fort Gibson as the Bruin boys go to Overland Park, Kansas. Both teams are in the midst of a streak.

The Lady Bruins have won 12 straight to begin the season. BHS just knocked off the No. 3 team in the state at Owasso on Tuesday. Bartlesville opens the "Old Fort Classic" against Stillwell at 11:00 on Thursday morning.

The Bruin boys are trying to rebound after losing four straight. BHS has averaged nearly 20 turnovers per game in the losing streak. Bartlesville head coach Clent Stewart says it is hard to win when you dont value the basketball.

The Bruins open up play in the "Saints Classic" at 7:45 on Thursday evening against Blue Valley. KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3 will carry that game - with pregame around 7:15.
