Bruins Officially Move First Basketball Game
Bartlesville High will have to wait three more days to begin its 2018-19 basketball season.
The Bruins and Lady Bruins double-header at Jenks has been postponed. It was originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 30.
The games will now likely be played on Monday, Jan. 7.
The reason for the postponement has nothing to do with the hard court. The gridiron is to blame. Jenks' football team is playing in the 6A-I state championship game on Friday at the University of Tulsa.
Bartlesville will now open up the season on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at home against Owasso. The contests will be a Frontier Valley Conference double-header.
Both games will air on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
