Bartlesville High football held its first ever Night of Champions on Friday night at Custer Stadium. In front of family and friends, Bruin football players tried to power clean 225 pounds in order to get their name on the Wall of Champions.

There were 21 Bruin football players accomplished the goal, with the high being 300 pounds set by JD Atterberry. The night was an exhibition in how far many of the players have come in their strength goals since the offseason program began.

Head coach Harry Wright talks about how summer workouts can translate into success on Fridays in the fall.

A little less than six weeks left until Bruin football officially kicks off, with practice starting in early August.

Bartlesville’s first game will be Friday, Sept. 2 at Claremore.

We will have the Bruins on KWON and KWONTV.com this season.
