Bruins Dismantled by Bixby
Not much to celebrate in Bartlesville on Friday night at the Bruins got walloped at home by Bixby, 71-0. The Spartans showed exactly why they will be in the hunt for the state championship once again.
One of the few bright spots on the night was a fumble recovery from Noah Loyd on a botched punt.
Tye Gensler would force and recover a fumble later in the game as well. In total, the Bruins gained just six first downs in the game. Quarterback Simian Gilkey mustered up 93 total yards in the loss.
Future OSU Cowboy Braylin Presley had seven carries for 166 yards and two touchdowns with a lost fumble as well.
Bartlesville is 1-3 and will play at Booker T. Washington next week.
