Bruin Wrestling Ready For Regionals
The Bartlesville wrestling team is primed for regionals on Friday and Saturday at Broken Arrow, with chances at going to the state tournament on the line.
BHS expects to send 13 of the possible 14 participants to Broken Arrow. The Bruins had some injuries and other issues that had numbers down below that a bit, but head coach Josh Pulsifer expects only one weight class to not be filled.
Pulsifer says he thinks the program is going in a positive direction. Guys are competing at a younger age in the Bartlesville system. Numbers are up for the varsity team. Players are competing at a higher level within the state.
The state tournament will be at the State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City on Feb. 27 and 28.
