Bruin Spring Football Continues
The Bartlesville football team continues spring practice and will wrap things up on Thursday before BHS’ Friday graduation.
The Bruins have to replace nearly half of its starting lineup from a state semifinal appearance in 2015. Bartlesville head coach John McKee says the young guys are coming along just fine.
BHS has a wide array of new athletes coming into the fold, as well. Basketball star Barron Tanner is out for his senior season on the gridiron. Also, Taylor Cobb is back out for football and playing well. McKee says the new athletes on the team show how the program has transformed the past few years.
Bartlesville has back-to-back playoff appearances after the switch from 6A to 6A-II.
The Bruins will participate in team camp on June 2-3 in Stillwater
