The Bartlesville boy's and girl's soccer teams will be participating in the Claremore Zebra and Lady Zebra Soccer Shootout at the end of the week. The girls will play two games on Thursday in pool play, and will then play for placement on Saturday. The boys will play two games on Friday in pool play, then also play for placement on Saturday.

The girls take on Carl Albert first at 1:30 on Thursday. The Lady Bruins will then play either NW Classen or Bixby later in the day.

The boys first take on powerhouse Broken Arrow at 9:00 AM on Friday, with BHS playing either Booker T. Washington or Bixby later in the day. Bruin head coach Micah Lipscomb talks about BA.

The goal for the Bruin's boy's club is to get hot and stay hot before district play. BHS has had some success in tournaments before.

Both the boys and girls will play more games over the weekend than they've played all season long, mostly due to the weather in the early spring. Lipscomb says the guys are looking forward to finally playing.

Both BHS teams are 1-1, with a loss to Jenks and a win over Sapulpa.
