Bruin Football to Hold Public Workouts Thursday

Bartlesville High has been amped up to begin yet another new era of Bruin football under Jason Sport, as practice will begin in two weeks.

Sport has preached culture from day one on the job back in December, as he has captured some of the forward momentum the program had under Lee Blankenship. Sport says that little things stand out to him as he approaches his first fall camp as a head coach.

Bartlesville will undergo strength and conditioning testing this week, as the hardest week of workouts wrapped up at the end of this past week.

BHS will hold a special workout session on Thursday evening at Custer Stadium that is open to the public. The workouts start at 9:00 PM.

Sport called the event “Midnight Maneuvers” – where the Bruins will have a Hardknock Thursday. Sport explains Hardknock Thursdays.

He went on to say the workouts are a gut check.

Sport urged the public to attend the event on Thursday, which will be the first official event of the fall for Bruin football.

Don’t forget you can catch BHS football all fall long on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
