The Bartlesville High baseball team won its second district game of the season and improved its winning streak to three with a win against Muskogee on Wednesday evening.

It was a run-rule blowout, as the Bruins beat the Roughers 14-1 in five innings.

Muskogee issued 10 walks to Bruin batters. Only Brennan Longacre had multiple hits for BHS.

Grant Yardley, Derek Hill and Lucas Rietfors combined to throw the five one-run innings. In three innings Yardley gave up one hit, struck out five and walked none.

Bartlesville has won three games in a row for the second time this season. The Bruins improve to 7-11-1. Bartlesville High is back at home Thursday evening for a rescheduled double-header against Moore.

That will be a 4:30 first pitch for game one – game two at 6:30 at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

Sports Talk 1500 AM - KPGM and FM 99.1 will broadcast game one. Game two will air on the Bruin's usual station of KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
