Bruin Baseball Tries to Use Speed

Bartlesville High baseball is right back on the horse on Thursday evening, after dropping a couple games to Owasso earlier this week.

The Bruins return home for their final game before their spring break trip. Ponca City visits Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Bartlesville is 1-4, while the Wildcats are 1-7.

The Bruins were shut out for the second time this season during their most recent loss to Owasso on Tuesday. Other than that, it has been a good offensive season for BHS. The Bruins are averaging just over five runs per game. Bartlesville is smaller this year, but head coach Spence Rigdon says speed is a big asset for this Bartlesville team.

Bartlesville and Ponca City - First pitch at 5:00 PM from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

BHS will travel to Florida for its annual Spring Break trip next week.
