The Bartlesville High baseball team is oh-and-two, despite a stronger effort in their second game against Sapulpa on Tuesday night.

The Bruins fell to the Chieftains 12-11 after allowing five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. BHS had led 11-7 prior to that.

Bartlesville had several players do well at the plate, Noah Yearout had three hits, KWON intern John Cone and Lucas Reitfors both had two hits apiece. Cone was on base four times. Jacob Hall led Bartlesville with five RBIs.

The Bruins are off until Friday when Bartlesville hosts Booker T. Washington.
