Bartlesville High has a chance to get on a winning streak on the baseball diamond on Monday afternoon, as the always tough Owasso Rams visit Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for the first of a two-game district series this week.

BHS is coming off its first win of the season on Friday, an 8-3 victory over Booker T. Washington. The Bruins have now scored 19 runs over their last two games. Bartlesville is off to a 1-2 start on the season. Bruin head coach Spence Rigdon says that getting off to a good start is important, but he wants his club peaking at the right time.

Owasso is 3-0, including two wins over Stillwater in District play. 4:00 PM first pitch from downtown Bartlesville.

KWON will begin coverage of Bruin baseball on the radio within the next couple of weeks.
