Bruin Baseball Falls to Ponca

Bartlesville high lost its third straight baseball game Friday evening at home against Ponca City.

It was another close one, as the Bruins fell to the Wildcats in eight innings. The final score ended up being 10-4 after BHS gave up six runs in the top of the eighth inning.

Bartlesville had a great chance to win the game in the bottom of the seventh.

The Bruins tied it with an AJ Archambo single – then loaded the bases with just one out – but were unable to score the winning run.

BHS falls to 4-11-1on the season. The Bruins are back in action Saturday afternoon against Har-Ber, Arkansas, it’s a neutral site game being played in Claremore in the Claremore Festival. First pitch at 12:30 PM.
