Bruin Baseball Coming Up
The Bartlesville High baseball team is breaking in a new coach, and. hopefully soon, a new field.
The Bruins will be led by Cody Price, who was hired this past summer to lead the baseball program. Price replaces Austin Jarvis, who left Bartlesville after only one year at the helm this past spring.
BHS is trying to get some work in before the regular season starts in early March, without a field. Rigdon Field at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium has not been completed. Turf installation was part of the most recent bond issue. Price talks about the challenges of practicing without a field.
Bartlesville will begin scrimmages soon, with a regular season start date on March 2, BHS opens with district opponent, Enid.
