The final few legs of the 2018 baseball season are here.

Bartlesville High baseball is set for the postseason, after the Bruins lost their final regular season game of the year on Friday night to Union. The Redskins topped BHS 8-1 out at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

Friday's game was a rainout makeup game from late March in district play. The Bruins had chances at the plate early, but left four guys on base, including three in scoring position in the first two innings. Union exploded for four runs in the fifth inning, on six hits. That gave the Redskins a 6-0 lead and they would never look back.

Bartlesville scored its lone run of the game in the bottom of the seventh.

6A Regionals are scheduled to start on Thursday. BHS will not officially know where it’s headed for the postseason until Monday – early returns say Broken Arrow is the most likely destination.
