Blankenship Talks Zebras
Bartlesville head football coach Lee Blankenship talked with KWON for an hour on Wednesday night, during the first installment of the Bruin Football Coach’s Show with Lee Blankenship .
Coach previewed his Bruin’s week one matchup with Claremore on Friday night.
Bartlesville officially announced that Noah Sunday will start the game at quarterback. Sunday has been in the midst of a close position battle with Ben Winters. Blankenship says Sunday got the nod for tomorrow night because of his experience.
Blankenship went on to say it is likely that Bartlesville will use both quarterbacks on Friday. The coaching staff will have different plays scripted depending on who is in the game, and Blankenship said the feel of the contest will determine if or when he makes a switch at that spot.
The Bruins and the Zebras will kick at 7:00 PM, with a 6:30 pregame on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93..
