Blankenship Looks For Effort This Spring
Week No. 2 of spring football is still rolling on across the Northeast Oklahoma area, as many teams are getting more acclimated to each other and new coaches.
At Bartlesville High today will be practice No. 2 this week – BHS officially hit the field on Thursday of last week under first-year head coach Lee Blankenship.
On top of implementing all the elements that Blankenship wants in his program, this is the first evaluation period he has had to see his players on the field in a practice type setting. Blankenship talks about what he is looking for throughout spring ball.
After this week of practice, BHS will hold its own team camp that will almost serve as another week of practice at Custer Stadium.
