Bixby Sweeps Bruins/Lady Bruins
Bixby came out of Bruin Fieldhouse with two wins on Tuesday night.
The Spartans and Lady Spartans swept Bartlesville. The Lady Bruins fell 52-47, while the Bruins lost 58-48. Bixby lead both games the majority of the game.
On the girl's side, the Lady Bruins (9-9) cut the Bixby lead to one in the final minutes, but could never get over the hump.
For the boy's, it was another scoring drought that plagued the Bruins. Bartlesville didn't score for five minutes at the end of the first quarter, and managed only 19 points at halftime. The Bruins rained four three-pointers in the fourth quarter in a comeback attempt, but it fell short.
Both teams host Sapulpa next on Friday evening.
