Two top 20 womens basketball teams squared off Friday night at Bartlesville as #14 Lady Eagles improved to 20-2 overall and 6-0 in MCAC play with a 64-52 victory over ninth ranked College of St. Mary.  It was the NAIA's Game of the Week.  Lady Eagles began the game strong and took a 41-28 halftime lead.  The Flames outscored the Lady Eagles 28-23 in the second half, but it wasn't enough as OKWU won their 12th straight game.  Susan Agesen and Kayla Morgan each led with 13 points while Kori Dyer finished with 11 and Nichole Tate added 10.

In the mens game, the quest of upsetting sixth ranked Bellevue University came up short for OKWU as the Bruins escaped with a 92-91 double overtime win.  CJ Ross led the Eagles with 26 points and 11 rebounds.  He also went 11 of 16 from the field.  Chandler Moczygembia finished with 18 points, Nikola Stjepanovich added 13 points, and Jacob Hall with 10 points.  The loss is the sixth straight for the Eagles who are now 6-15 overall and 0-6 in MCAC Play.

Next up for the Eagles and the Lady Eagles will be Saturday afternoon as they will host Waldorf College.  Ladies play at 3 o'clock while the Men will play at 5 o'clock.
