BHS Swimming Rolls Through Regionals

Both the Bartlesville High swim teams did well during their Regional appearance at Jenks this past weekend.

The Lady Bruins took fifth while the Bruin guys took second. Jenks won the event going away on both sides.

The results mirror what BHS probably thought would have happened going into the event. The Bruin boys will be a serious contender to make the podium at state, while the Lady Bruins have leaned on senior Sydney Perry.

Perry was again fantastic on Saturday, winning two events, the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-meter butterfly. The Lady Bruins are still five-time defending 6A champions.

Jenks will also host the 6A State meet, which will not be for another couple weeks, on Feb. 21 and 22.
