BHS Softball Ramping Up
Many softball, volleyball and cross country teams across Northeast Oklahoma are working hard already, as the regular season is quickly approaching.
At Bartlesville High, BHS softball has been practicing for nearly a week and a half with good results.
The Lady Bruins have been without some of their starters at practice as they finish up summer ball. That give BHS an opportunity to add depth at some positions. Here is head Bartlesville softball coach Craig Hampton.
One of the main returners for BHS this season is Maggie Largess, who will catch for Bartlesville this season.
Largess is a senior who has played a major role in guiding younger players entering her final year. Hampton said Largess has been to several junior high practices helping some future Lady Bruins. Largess talks about her increased leadership.
The next week or so of BHS practice will be mostly scrimmages against area teams.
