BHS Baseball Win Streak Snapped

Bartlesville High baseball had its six-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Enid on Monday night at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

The Plainsmen came from behind to top BHS 8-6. The Bruins led 4-0 after the first inning, but Enid scored eight unanswered runs throughout the fourth and fifth frames to grab the district victory.

Grant Yardley had a three-hit game for Bartlesville offensively. Edward Burke suffered the loss on the mound for the Bruins. AJ Archambo allowed three-hits and three-runs through his four innings as the starter. Archambo continues to show that if he pitches in the zone, he’s hard to hit. Here is Bartlesville head coach Spence Rigdon.

Bartlesville falls to 10-12-1, Enid improves to 21-10.

Game two of the district series against the Plainsmen is at David Allen Memorial Park in Enid on Tuesday. Another 6:00 PM first pitch, and it’s in another game we’ll have on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.

You can always stream the game online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and on the Bartlesville Radio App.
