Bartlesville Football Has Moments at Collinsville
The Bartlesville High football team had some highlights, and some mistakes in its first game action at Collinsville on Friday.
The Bruins dominated the first part of the scrimmage, but struggled a bit on offense during the simulated game portion of action. Bartlesville lost the simulated game 14-0. Collinsville scored both its touchdowns on a long screen pass and a pick-six.
Bartlesville rotated Noah Sunday and Taton Hopkins at quarterback, both taking equal reps with the no. 1 string offensive players.
BHS will open the season at McAlester on Friday at 7:30 in a game you can hear on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
