Maybe a vacation is just what the Doctor ordered for BHS baseball.

Bartlesville High has now won two games in a row in The Sunshine State, as the Bruins beat Bay High School out of Panama City, Florida 7-6 on Tuesday evening.

BHS is now in day three of its annual spring break trip in Panama City, Florida.

Bartlesville overcame five errors on defense with its second straight solid offensive outing. The Bruins scored seven runs on seven hits, three of the base-knocks came from sophomore Jakob Hall, who went 3-4 with two doubles and three RBIs.

Dakota Ward gave up six hits in six innings pitched, but only one of the four runs he surrendered was earned.

Noah Yearout had to put out a fire at the end of the game, striking out two batters to finish things up and get his first save of the season.

Bartlesville is back at it again on Wednesday with a game at 10:00 AM against Knoxville Christian. BHS will head home before the weekend to prepare for more district play beginning on Monday against Tulsa Union.
