Nine-run innings are pretty hard to come by, but the Bruin baseball team has had two in the span of three days.

Bartlesville High baseball won its second game in a row on Thursday. The Bruins topped Ponca City 10-4 - that also marked back-to-back road victories for BHS.

The win gives Bartlesville (8-12) the season series victory over Ponca. For the second game in a row, a nine-run inning propelled Bartlesville to the win. The Bruins scored nine in the top of the fifth inning. BHS only tacked on a single run in the seventh as insurance the rest of the game. Bartlesville sent 15 guys to the plate in the explosive frame.

KWON Intern John Cone led Bartlesville at the plate, he went 2-3 with two doubles and a walk.

Bartlesville next plays a single game in the Clarmore Festival on Friday evening at 7:00 PM against Tulsa Rogers.
