The Bartlesville bats couldn’t get much going on Tuesday night in Bixby.

The Bruins fell to the Spartans for the first time this year, losing 6-1. BHS has lost five of six going into the final stretch of games to end the regular season.

Bartlesville (13-12) managed 12 base runners, but only five base hits in the contest. The lone Bruin run came off a double from Chandler Holliman. The double scored Logan McNeill, who walked with one out in the sixth inning.

Bixby scored three runs in the second inning alone. The Spartans had their first four base runners reach. Two of the runs scored on wild pitches.

AJ Archambo and Holliman each threw three innings. Archambo gave up five earned runs, on four walks and three base hits. Holliman calmed things down a bit, allowing four hits, but only walking two. He gave up one earned run.

The schedule for BHS has been mixed up a bit. The Bruin’s game on Friday at Muskogee has been canceled and will not be made up. The Roughers have a make up district game scheduled for that day.

Bartlesville will play at Bishop Kelley at 11 in the morning on Saturday.

BHS will then play senior night on its regularly scheduled evening at 6:00 on April 27.

Bartlesville is at Enid on April 28 at 6:00.

Then BHS will make up a game at home against Booker T. Washington on Thursday, April 30 at 5:30.

Remaining BHS schedule:

April 25: @ Bishop Kelley 11:00 AM

April 28: @ Enid 6:00 PM

April 30: Booker T. Washington 5:30 PM
